Builders warehouse yesterday

I was in Builders Warehouse the other day pushing my cart around when I collided with a young guy pushing his cart.

I said to the young guy, “Sorry about that. I’m looking for my wife and I guess I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going.”

The young guy says, “That’s OK. It’s a coincidence. I’m looking for my wife, too. I can’t find her and I’m getting a little desperate.”

I said, “Well, maybe we can help each other. What does your wife look like?”

The young guy says, “Well, she is 24 years old, tall, with blond hair, big blue eyes, long legs, big boobs, and she’s wearing tight white shorts, a halter top and no bra. What does your wife look like?”

I said, “Doesn’t matter — let’s look for yours.”

Most of us old guys are helpful like that.

Naked Wings

An old Pilot, wearing his wings badge, sat down at the Starbucks and ordered a cup of coffee.

A young woman sat down next to him..

She asked, seeing the wings, ‘Are you a real pilot?’

He replied, ‘Well, I’ve spent my whole life flying biplanes, Cubs, Aeronca’s, Neiuports, flew in WWII in a B-29, and later in the Korean conflict, taught 50 people to fly and gave rides to hundreds, so I guess I am a pilot.’

She said, ‘I’m a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about naked women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about naked women. When I shower, I think about naked women. When I watch TV, I think about naked women. It seems everything makes me think of naked women.’

The two sat sipping in silence.

A little while later, a young man sat down on the other side of the old pilot and asked: "are you a real pilot?"

He replied, ‘I always thought I was, but I just found out I’m a lesbian.’

Take a look at this bike, it doesn’t look that big, then scroll down and
see it with a girl sitting on it. A big production motorcycle engine would
be 140 cubic inches, this one is 410! That’s 3364cc per piston…

I just want to ride it once!!!!!

The Gunbus 410 cubic inch (67280cc’s) V-Twin
motorcycle is complete. The monster engine
placed in a motorcycle frame of comparable
size looked impossible and many who saw the
photos were skeptical of the bike ever being
finished, but I guess Clemens F. Leonhardt is
one of those persistent guys who ignores the
naysayers and keeps at his work.

The fuel-injected, 45 degree 6728 cc/410 cubic inch V-Twin runs through a 3 speed
transmission with reverse and actually looks pretty good in its finished state. In fact,
everything looks good!
It puts out 523 foot pounds of torque.
Seat height is 31.5 inches and overall length
is 136 inches. It is a little heavy at 1433 pounds
so high speed corner carving might be an issue
and there aren’t any photos of the big bike on
the road, so I guess we’ll have to wait for the
road test, that is if someone can actually road
test this monster.

This is actually going to go into limited series
production and a sidecar will be available as
well, which might help with balance when
waiting at a light.

I don’t even want to think about a driveway
tip over.

Online Auction’s & Shopping in South Africa

All of a sudden when searching for some very common items using Google.co.za South Africa I notice a new player on the block.

Searching for a PS2 games for sale, gets me Bid or Buy at number 1 and You Post at number 2.

I ran a few other searches and got the same combination.

I will almost always back the underdog, I do believe that the majority of us will, why is it then that in SA we allow ourselves to be ripped off like we do.

Bid or Buy is not cheap, selling anything is 5% straight off the sellers price, and to list a car or home for sale they charge like wounded buffalo. I have notices some other cheaper options popping up namely My Trade, Free whilst in Beta and certainly more affordable than BOB. I would love to see them succeed and start some real competition in the South African online shopping and auctioning space.

Talking of online shopping and in particular Christmas online shopping in South Africa, if earn enough in the next month or two then I am getting myself one of these babies 321 as fast as 123…

I would love to hear if any of you have used the new Auction and shopping sites I have mentioned above..
